THE PEOPLE

Spend more time doing what you love with the people you love and care for.

Those who choose to live and work here support one another daily to make life worth living, throughout the continuum of aging. We spend most of our time fueling well-being by connecting with others. Together, we may decide to spend time reenergizing in silence, remembering our blessings, creating new opportunities, trying new activities, strengthening the body, or learning and challenging the mind. Well-being is a lifestyle choice that drives how we live our lives every day.

This is who we build a caring family with.

Connecting to nature is right outside your doorstep.

Welcome to feeling alive. Our first location is nestled in The Foothills of Alberta, Canada.  Our rustic village concept is designed with comfort and accessibility in mind so that any care need can be met. We also wanted to build a social space that offers tranquility and stillness to nurture the mind and body for optimal living.

Live in a place where your curiosity is sparked by what the area locally provides.

THE EXPERIENCE

This care community isn’t just where people live, it’s where they feel ALIVE and experience ALIVENESS.

Leading with your heart makes another way of living and aging possible. Inspire a new kind of you, living and driving a new approach to care.

Our people believe in our care philosophy. We combine connection simultaneously with care. At The Julianna, we implement Tools for Caring (TFC) as our guide to live and care authentically, joyfully and fully. Tools for Caring is heart based care for everyone. It is informed by Positive Psychology and Emotional Intelligence. OK, those are big words and massive fields of study. What do they mean, why do they matter and how do we use them to live our best life?

What is a Heart-Based approach to Care?

Love is difficult to quantify, but you know it exists because you feel it in your heart. Biologically, the heart is the muscle responsible for keeping your body alive. Emotionally, it’s the center of your world. If emotions had a home, that home would be the heart and it’s The Heart that is the north star of this care community. Let your heart be your guide!
